Back pain is a very common side effect observed in almost all women during pregnancy. According to the research conducted in US, approximately 80% woman face back pain while pregnant, due to the disturbance of their daily lifestyle.
Pregnancy back pain, is associated with a number of factors. Some may begin to experience this with the beginning of pregnancy, or those who are overweight or had back pain before pregnancy. Following can be some causes of back pain during pregnancy:

Increased hormones. The hormones released during pregnancy, tend to soften the ligaments in the pelvic area, and thus loosen the joints, during the preparation for the birthing process.
Center of gravity. Moves forward slowly, as the uterus and baby grows, and changes your posture.
Additional weight. The developing pregnancy and baby together increases the weight, that the back supports.
Posture. Poor posture, excess standing and bending over increases the back pain.
Stress. Due to the changes occurring in the pelvic area, you feel an increased back pain during stressful periods of your pregnancy.
